What a blast.  I went to a scrap booking camp in the weekend just gone and I was very happy to meet one of my fellow colleagues who is a Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator. Her Name is Tee-Jayand she is just one of the nicest lady that I have met. She lives in the grand metropolis of Wanganui (or should that be Whanganui), so all of you that have met Tee-Jay, you would agree how nice she is.

Any way, why am I going on about Tee-Jay? Well she was a good demonstrator and had some of the hostess sets that we could order before tomorrow as demonstrators, and I was allowed to play!!!! It is always great to be around similar minded people who enjoy card making and scrap booking, as much as I do.

Any way here are some of the things that were created with my new friends stamp sets.

These first two are made with the “A Good Egg” Set which I think are just adorable.

The next one is made with the “Window Dressing” Hostess set which has a large amount of stamps to work with. Fantastic!!! This is with the new in color of “Kiwi Kiss”

And this one I was just playing with the “Chocolate Chip” card stock and the “Say it with Scallops” Set, with the “So Swirly” roller in the background. I thought it was quite cute.

Last but definitely not least, this is a card that my new friend Tee-Jay made for me. What else is great is not only are we both demonstrators, but we are both in Jacque’s team. How great is that!!

Isn’t it cool!!! This is made with the “Fresh Cut Notes” that come pre-punched. Neat ah!!!

Well as you can imagine, scrap camp was a lot of fun. How could it not be with 32 woman there all doing what we love.

My niece has come up from the deep south, Alexandra, and is now going to Turakina Maori Girls College, as that is where her mother went to school, and she is really into her maori culture. To blow her trumpet, she has actually been accepted to compete in the national competitions for Kapa Haka (maori dancing and singing). She is nearly 16 and she is really excited. It’s great to see someone so young so passionate about something good than not so good.

Any way, why am I speaking about my niece??? They are having a gala at the school this weekend and last week when she was here for a couple of nights, she said to me “Can you bring some stuff for prizes Aunty?”. That was all she gave me about that, so I came up with these.

So hopefully they will do. Easter isn’t too far away so thought that I would top the boxes off with a few mini chocolate eggs and the rest of the box is full of various wrapped lollies. The “Yummy” stamp set was just perfect for this and I must say I have used this particular set many times. I also used various stamps from the “Baroque Motifs, Sprinkles and Polka Dot Punches sets as backgrounds, which I think have worked really well.
