Hello all. Yes I know that it has been a while, and yes I am sorry that I have not been here, but I would like to say now….’I am back!!!! and I am planning on being a lot more hands on, so look out!!!’  Ha ha ha, now that I have got that out of my system, let’s get down to business.

First of all, the NEW Spring Mini has arrived. Full of beautiful individual stamps…which is new, rub on’s which as all of the other Stampin’ Up! goodies come coordinating all of those yummy stamp sets that we have or want!!! The Scallop Oval Punch is in there as well as some new Speciality Design Series Paper’s.

If you would like to get your hands on one of these catalogues, please let me know and I will get one to you.  Alternatively you can click on this link and it will take you to the on-line catalogue.

Next Up we have the September Special. Can’t believe tomorrow is September already!!! Where has the year gone?

Any way, I digress…The deal is, if you or a few of you get together and spend $120, then you will receive for FREE  an exclusive ribbon bundle. This comprises of 9.1 metres each of Certainly Celery 5/8″ poly-twill and So Saffron 5/8″ grosgrain ribbon. Sounds great to me. Let me know what you think!!!

Tic Tac Toe

Here is one of the things that I have done since I have been here last. One of many things I must say though. It s a KaiserCraft Tic Tac Toe Box, or naughts and crosses if you are a kiwi like me!!! I do find it difficult to get away from the kids though!!! Which is pretty neat.  Apart from the box, the only other thing on it that is not Stampin’ Up! is the red paint.

Well I will be back sooner than later to add more and keep you all informed!

Take care, and Happy Crafting.

My niece has come up from the deep south, Alexandra, and is now going to Turakina Maori Girls College, as that is where her mother went to school, and she is really into her maori culture. To blow her trumpet, she has actually been accepted to compete in the national competitions for Kapa Haka (maori dancing and singing). She is nearly 16 and she is really excited. It’s great to see someone so young so passionate about something good than not so good.

Any way, why am I speaking about my niece??? They are having a gala at the school this weekend and last week when she was here for a couple of nights, she said to me “Can you bring some stuff for prizes Aunty?”. That was all she gave me about that, so I came up with these.

So hopefully they will do. Easter isn’t too far away so thought that I would top the boxes off with a few mini chocolate eggs and the rest of the box is full of various wrapped lollies. The “Yummy” stamp set was just perfect for this and I must say I have used this particular set many times. I also used various stamps from the “Baroque Motifs, Sprinkles and Polka Dot Punches sets as backgrounds, which I think have worked really well.

Well as we all know, that time of year is upon us again. The time of year that high schools hate as they get courier after courier with flower deliveries from those puppy love sick teenagers wanting to reach out to the girl or boy they “like”, anonymously so they don’t have to say it in person. What am I talking about???

It’s Valentines Day!!!!

My 6 year old son came up to me a couple of days ago and said that he would like to give the girls in his room a “little something”. Very cute, I know, but he did not give me too much time. But anyway, I did come up with a “little something”, and even if I say so myself, I think it is quite cute.

Let me know what you think….please.

Love is in the air

As you can see it is a small bag, which is made of the DSP (Double Sided Papers) from the “Petals and Paisleys” set, a sheet of card from the earth elements family and stamped on front is the heart stamp from the “Polka Dot Punches” set, out of the Sale-a-bration catalogue. Stamped in purely pomegranate, and finished off with a small amount of ribbon for the handle.

I then found these cute little heart shaped chocolates in a shop in town, am I suppose to mention the name? Must find out about that one!!!

I will let you know how my son goes!!! Little casanova says his father. I would hope not.We all know what he was famous for!!!

Any Happy Valentines everyone.
